PROCESS IS ON HOLD
WATER TRANSFER PRINTS
After several years of evaluation for this process and the amount of business it brings in we have determined this is not pursuable in the future without changes. It's labor intensive, cost intensive and failure intensive. It's impossible to match OEM labor and factory pricing on a one by one basis.
The costs of the film have accelerated tremendously, the waste is 30% product lost, they do not totally cover well and matching patterns is both time consuming and not perfect. It's different when you have fifty guns to do and they are all the same. Then I have concerns about durability.
For the past twenty years we have custom camouflaged hundreds of rifles and hunting shotguns the good-old fashioned way, with an airbrush and CeraCoat paint and clear coat. Strong, Durable and we can custom create almost any pattern.
Sometimes the old ways are better.
